When I decided to write this guide I was really undecided about the setting to give to the text, being a technical manual it should be more schematic as possible with no-frills. Having said that, I also thought about what represents the Vespa (please do not call it scooter or motorbike…) for an enthusiast. Sincerely, I don’t know what crosses the mind of people who drive a Vespa, but my memories and my thoughts force me to see it as something more than a simple inanimate means of transport.
